L'vov'in україие

After being in L'vov for a few days, then going overnight to Kiev, we are now on a train back to L'vov since things have a risen where we won't have
money to do certain things. We have tickets to Odesa from Kiev, however with then have to pay for a hostel for two nights and the train back to l'vov
and working our way back to Poland, we wouldn't have enough money. So from L'vov we will get a bus to the border where we can go over on foot, then
a bus to a nearby city in Poland and then hitch-hike back to Granowo. We have got a job through workaway.info, but we are deciding to try and head to
the UK and get a job where we can get money. We are going to save money, learn Ukrainian and buy a flat or house in UA, due to the prices being...acceptable
I'm not to sure what will happen, other than the plans we have or ideas more like, we will see, I am going to go, so xiao.

Granow'o you!

Friday 24th July, 2117h and currently sitting on Kalina's bed in Granowo, Polska. Kalina has gone for a bath and I am listening to Ehma typing up
this update. We stayed in Dover overnight on the beach with sleeping bag over us. A mixture between warm and cold to be honest, didn't help when
it started to rain and we had to move. Eventually it became about 6am and Kalina was so cold she wanted to go, so we packed up and made our way
towards the "travel centre" for Dover. None of the ferry counters were open, so we just waited and waited and waited. At about 7am they started
opening up. After questioning the P&O price and the SeaFrance price, we went with SeaFrance as it was cheaper. The next ferry was at 0810h, so we
booked it at total of £24 and got the ferry. Arriving in Calais about 1025, we walked off and followed the other foot passengers. We got dropped off
at some kind of welcome terminal, found a map of Calais, looked at where we were, and where to go, and headed off. Arriving at the slipway to the
motorway, we put our rucksacks down, put our mark on the back of a sign - xtremefx et kruda 23/07/09 - and with our sign saying 'POLSKA', which we made
from a piece of paper on the ferry, we waited. Maybe not even half an hour and we got our first ride, heading about 100 miles I think, maybe kilometres
to Brugge, we took it. The guy had his break and while he had his break, we hitched and if we weren't successfull he'd give us a lift to the junction
where he turns off. Within ten minutes, someone pulled over and was going all the way to Poland, and was going the right way in Poland. Through
a lot of sleeping and breaks and not sure what was going on or where we were, we ended up, on the outskirts of Poznan with 9 ZL at 10am-ish on the
24th of July 2009. Walking to a bus stop, Kalina then looked and saw where we might be able to get to, after a bus,a tram and one train (the bus was
free ;)) we ended up in Granowo, Kalina's home. Seeing her parents, her sister, brother, nephew, the family was nice. We tried going to sleep
however since we were tired. Without much success, I said to Kalina why don't we go get piercings now then, so Kalina went and washed her hair, came
back and put her shoes on, we sorted out our stuff and set off, hitching to a town 100km away, got there with two lifts, we got our piercings and
came back, two lifts on way back and getting pulled over by the police. Thankfully being English can help you, as the driver who picked us up didn't
get a fee, the officers didn't want to show the bad side of the Polish Police. Now here I am typing up this, charging Stewie the Sat. Nav. and about
to watch an episode of Sanctuary I think, and carry on waiting for my dear Kalina to come from her shower. Tomorrow is hair dying day, after that I
am not too sure. We will see if Marion responds and we can go to Germany to see her and pick up my stuff, their is the open-air festival also I
guess, and then we also have to get to Odessa for the 2nd hitch-hiking festival. Should be interesting I hope. So then, updated a little, so I'll go
now, xiao.

Lincoln and nowhere to go,

Sunday 19th July, 2200h and staying at my Uncle Chris's place in Lincoln. With the possibility of staying at the next relatives being either
my Grandparents in Eydon or my Uncle and Auntie in Cornwall. Cornwall seems more difficult as the dog they have had since a puppy as died, and
my Grandparents need notice, quite a bit of notice actually. With these things in mind and Chris phoning Steve in Cornwall tommorrow we will
find out whether we are able to stay in Cornwall and use our tent or whether we have to carry on going straight to Poland. We get up and leave
early tommorrow morning, and we will head to Stevenage, work our way to the A1 and straight down, in Stevenage we will wait to hear from Chris
and see what we are doing. If Cornwall is okay, we will head that way via Southampton so we can see Will, otherwise we will head to Dover and
accross the channel. Kalina is lying in bed next to me, I am listening to Ehma and charging my phone, Chris and Dee are getting ready to go to
bed and I will go soon when I dry. Tommorrow I will hopefully contact my mum to let her know what is happening, I will respond to my dad's text
finally and also ring Adrian and Lynda's to let them know what has happened to us. Hopefully we can find some free internet access and kill
time otherwise we will just wait and wait for Chris's text/call to decide what to do, no matter what I think we may stay a night or two in
Stevenage, kill some time I guess, maybe if we can, we will go through Holland and stay at Daaf's in Utrecht if he is able to host us. I do not
know. Ideas go through the head and so much is possible and so much is not possible, anyway, think I'll go now.

So...

It appears we are starting this all over again, pretty much. I did this before, tried it, and failed a little bit, through trips I tried writing entries to the blog every day and wasn't succeeding, then I tried writing what I remembered in my notebook which failed, then I tried just writing into my notebook as I was travelling, which also failed. My last little bit of travelling I did was with my fianceé and everynow and then I managed to write updates on notepad. I will put these entries here of my last trip and will update when I feel I need to. This is all for travelling anyway, so it might be awhile before any more posts go on after these next few. Our idea is to work for the next year or so, so we will see. My apoligies once again if you were reading the last lot of entries, they have all been deleted and I hope you look forward to what small things will be here.

xiao,
